The match against the Demons, wasnt what I thought of as the best game they played but you can really see the team work. With Melbourne winning the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarters, and with Shane Crawford on the bench after the first quarter and key players like Barker, Holland, and Spider out, we still came to win the last quarter that counted. With Mitchell showing superb footy skills, as well as Hodge and Ries making their presence known. Mitchell really pulled Shane Crawford load, with Hank being off with a bruised back.
If you watched the game, you would of been scared a bit in the 3rd quarter thinking they could lose. With the team effort they took control over the game. With dedication and will, they won. Hawthorn 2.5 7.6 10.9 17.11 (113) Melbourne 3.3 11.6 11.13 15.16 (106)
